“We hired The Baker Group with two goals in mind – and sufficiently met both!
1) We wished to deepen our team’s understanding of the challenges that face , schools in the enrollment management space – as well as strategies and tactics to meet and overcome these challenges
2) The Baker Group wrote an institutional assessment of the school’s enrollment management opportunities, as a key part of our Foundation’s full institutional assessment for six schools.
Diocesan Catholic schools face their own unique challenges. This was a new type of client for The Baker Group. The team was quick to learn the landscape and adapt their recommendations accordingly and appropriately.
The Baker Group developed rapport with our schools, fostering an environment of trust, mutual respect, and transparency (in her on-campus visits)
The Baker Group brought new admissions tools and resources that are actionable and data-informed, in line with our Foundation’s philosophy
The Baker Group brought best practices in retention and recruitment that are new to the Catholic school space – helping schools:
Understand the breadth of their available market (dispelling limiting beliefs that only families in one’s parish are prospective students)
Understand the unique opportunities (and challenges) of their sending zip codes (and beyond) – and how to recruit and retain students accordingly
Understand the important role faculty, parents and students must play in a school’s effort to grow (and retain) a healthy student population
Understand the importance of leadership (both from the head of school and from a FT advancement professional) to drive enrollment management initiatives.”
